Commercial & Domestic Premises

We only take on complete extension or renovation projects that position us to deliver finished solutions. We will work closely with our customers and any architectural plans that they may already have or, we can through our program put forward relevant architects for clients to subsequently submit the appropriate drawings to the council for planning approval if, that is, the proposed works fall outside the scope of permitted development.

Sub-Contractor Assessment

All of our contractors have gone through required background checks and have worked with us on numerous construction projects and as a consequence have gained our confidence and trust for any works to which they are assigned to by us. We do not work with applicable trades that have not proven themselves to us in terms of integrity and ethical conduct. Continual Project Monitoring

Once a contract is agreed with the appropriate sub-contractor and project details are entered into our systems, a sub-contractor's performance is monitored on a time-lined bases to ensure that customer satisfaction and quality workmanship is maintained at the highest level. We effectively manage the management of the site whilst noting progress and duration to avoid the risk of running over time-limits.

Binding Disputes Procedure (Fairness Policy)

We completely understand that things can sometimes go wrong due to simple misunderstandings or, there is a delay in materials which could hinder progress or even, a variation has developed in the specification of the said works that could not have reasonably been forseen at the time of quotation. These things can become an issue which we have no control over, however, where an issue has developed we will be happy to arbitrate in an endeavour to achieve an amicable resolve between customer and contractor. All of our sub-contractors are required to adhere and agree to a Fairness Policy in the unlikely event that a situation develops whereby our final decision on the matter becomes binding on all concerned parties. There is no legal recourse implicated to Charnwood Flooring nor is there a right of appeal once a decision has been made.

Contractual Hand Over (subject to hand over terms)

Once a consultation regarding your construction objectives have taken place at our office/s and initial project details have been recorded onto our systems so as to what the project entails, we will then liaise with the correct and trusted construction teams to further your enquiry in order to ultimately provide an accurate quotation based on a site visit under SV terms.
